Electrical design in Lisbon

We develop electrical designs for Lisbon and its Metropolitan Area. Every design is prepared to be understood, coordinated and implemented safely.

Overview

Design turns needs into technical decisions

An electrical design defines how energy is received, distributed, protected and used in a building. It starts with the expected loads and uses to establish capacities, circuits, switchboards, cables, protective devices, controls and points of use.

Proper development reduces improvisation on site, supports competitive pricing and allows routes, equipment and spare capacity to be coordinated with architecture and other disciplines in advance.

Key benefits

  • More predictable costs and quantities
  • Coordination before work begins
  • Consistent selection of cables, protection and equipment
  • Useful documentation for approvals and construction
  • A technical basis for assessing site changes

What it includes

Requirements assessment, load schedules, circuit distribution, sizing, single-line diagrams, switchboard schedules, design reports and drawings as defined in the agreed scope.

Where it applies

  • Housing and residential developments
  • Offices, retail and commercial premises
  • Warehouses and logistics buildings
  • Factories and industrial installations
  • Refurbishment and capacity changes

Technical overview

The solution brings together voltage drop, current-carrying capacity, short-circuit levels, selectivity, residual-current protection, continuity of supply, equipotential bonding and installation conditions. Control systems coordinate power, control and functional safety.

Electrical controls

Industrial control designed as part of the system

In factories and technical installations, the design can include control panels, motors, variable-speed drives, sensors, interlocks and automation interfaces. Operating modes, signalling, protection and safety stops must be coordinated with the process and equipment.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

What information is needed for a proposal?

Architectural drawings, location, floor areas, intended use, project stage and disciplines required. For alterations, existing documentation and authorised technical photographs are useful.

How much does electrical design cost in Lisbon?

The fee depends on floor area, building type, stage, capacity, complexity and documentation required. After reviewing the drawings and scope, we provide a proposal tailored to the work.

Can the design include construction-stage support?

Yes. The scope can include clarifications, assessment of alternatives, review of changes and support with technical coordination.

Do you also design electrical panels and controls?

We develop the design and functional specification of control panels, with manufacture and supply by the responsible partner. For main switchboards and distribution boards, we provide design and coordinate supply through a manufacturing partner, without on-site installation.
