Additional expertise
These services address needs that arise before construction, during building operation or when existing documentation no longer reflects the installation. The scope is agreed in advance so that surveys, calculations and reports are proportionate to the objective.
Design and specification of controls for pumping, fans, smoke control and carbon monoxide detection, with manufacture and regulated activities handled by qualified partners.
Technical assessment of installation condition to identify faults, risks and improvement opportunities, with photographic records and recommendations organised by priority.
Identification of circuits, equipment and protective devices, with preparation or updating of single-line diagrams and switchboard technical documentation.
Analysis of loads, installed capacity, voltage drops and protective devices to support sizing, selectivity and continuity of supply.
Independent review of drawings, calculations and specifications to identify clashes, omissions and opportunities for improvement before construction.
Temporary monitoring to analyse consumption, power, voltage, imbalances, harmonics and other disturbances affecting installation performance.
These assessments, studies and reviews provide technical support. They do not replace statutory inspections, certificates or activities reserved for officially authorised entities.
Separate service
Assessment of the energy performance of residential and commercial properties, with an energy performance certificate where legally applicable. Assessment and certification are carried out by a Qualified Expert accredited under the Portuguese Building Energy Certification System.

No. An assessment provides technical information to support maintenance and decision-making. It does not replace statutory inspections carried out by officially authorised entities.
Drawings, the design report, calculations, specifications, architectural plans and information about loads and how spaces will be used are normally needed. We confirm the requirements once the review objectives are understood.
Once the objective is agreed, suitable equipment is temporarily installed to record electrical parameters. The data is then analysed and presented in a technical report.
The assessment and energy performance certificate are provided by a Qualified Expert accredited under the Portuguese Building Energy Certification System.
